After the cold and in many areas cloudy weather returns today, Thursday, the sunny weather according to the forecast of ERT meteorologist Panagiotis Giannopoulos. In fact, the temperature will rise, reaching 18 to 19 degrees at noon.
On Friday afternoon and until Saturday morning in the central and southern areas will be local rains (Epirus, Peloponnese, Sterea, we may see some rain late in the evening, towards Elefsina).
New improvement is expected on Sunday.
On Monday, on the day of March 25, sunnier weather is forecast – according to the weather models so far – in the east and south, while mainly in the west and less in the north will be local rains.
The temperature will remain at the same level of 18 to 20 degrees at noon, while the winds will not create an issue for sea travel.

On Thursday (21/3), a few clouds are predicted, which will be partly cloudy in Thrace and Crete.

On Friday (22/3), local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon – evening hours in mainland Greece and mainly in the central and southern regions.
The winds will blow N-NW with a basic intensity of 4 to 5 Beaufort and the temperature will not change significantly.
On Saturday (23/3), local showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast in the morning hours in eastern and southern Greece and mainly in the Aegean islands, Crete and the Dodecanese.
Winds will be slightly stronger and the temperature will drop slightly, mainly in the east.
On Sunday (24/3) relative good weather is expected.
Winds will weaken and temperatures will rise.
Kolydas: Instability and “P” type weather
According to the latest forecasts of Thodoris Kolydas, Friday will be unstable on the mainland in the afternoon and noon , but not particularly intense.
At the weekend the instability will be significantly reduced , the weather will be improved and the temperature will rise – mainly on Sunday – when the winds will turn to southerly.

The ERT forecaster said that on Monday, March 25, “a new instability will pass very quickly and will affect northern Greece, but also the west of the country.
Thus, local showers will be experienced in the morning in the Ionian Sea, Epirus the west of Thessaly and Sterea. After noon, however, the weather will open up everywhere with temperatures in the centre reaching 20 to 22 degrees.”

Nearly clear weather is forecast for most of the country, with sparse clouds at times. From noon in the northeast the clouds will become thicker and in eastern Macedonia and Thrace local rain will occur.
Winds in the southeastern Aegean will blow northwest at 5 to 7 Beaufort. In the remaining areas, the winds will initially be variable and weak, turning from noon to westerly 3 to 5 and in the south locally 6 Beaufort.
Temperatures will rise slightly, mainly in the west and south. It will reach 15 to 17 degrees Celsius in the north and 18 to 19 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.
