UPDATE 2: Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack that left at least 62 dead. The claim of responsibility was made in a post on an ISIS Telegram channel. Among the victims and children, 146 were injured.
UPDATE: According to the latest information the number of the dead has risen to at least 40.

Panic at a concert venue in Moscow on Friday afternoon as gunmen stormed the event and began shooting indiscriminately, with the death toll continuously rising.
According to reports, the attack took place at the Crocus City Hall center with the gunmen, according to Russian media, being three in number. So far, the death toll from the attack stands at at least 12, with 35 injured.

According to the Russian news networks Ria Novosti and TASS, an evacuation operation was ordered immediately after the shootings.
A fire broke out inside the building after an explosion, with emergency services rushing to the scene.
Videos depict scenes of panic as well as the moment armed individuals stormed the area.
There are fears that the number of casualties could dramatically increase.
It is noted that on March 7th, the US embassy in Russia had issued a special warning about possible terrorist activities.
