This year, summer weather arrived significantly earlier than usual.
High temperatures were recorded at noon on Wednesday (10/04). The maximum temperature was recorded in Trikala 29.4°C followed by Elefthero at Grevena 29°C and Stylida Fthiotida 28.7°C.
The map in the image below shows the distribution of the maximum temperature in the country according to the network of automatic weather stations of the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr.
As can be seen from the relevant information also presented in this image, the temperature exceeded 25 °C at 186 of the 498 currently active stations (~37%), while the average maximum temperature (23.7 °C) was 1 °C higher than yesterday’s (22.7 °C).

Generally clear weather, with sparse clouds at times in the west and south. Winds will blow from northerly directions in the west 2 to 4, in the east 4 to 6 and in the Aegean Sea locally 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly in the east. It will reach 26 to 28 degrees Celsius on the mainland and 21 to 23 degrees Celsius on the islands.
