At this moment, the unveiling of SYRIZA’s list of candidates for the European Parliament elections is taking place at the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center, led by the party’s president, Stefanos Kasselakis.

Attending the SYRIZA event is also the former president of the party, Alexis Tsipras, who was greeted enthusiastically and was greeted by Sokratis Famellos.

SYRIZA has already announced the 37 candidates who will populate the ballot for the June 9th European elections.

Thirty-five emerged from the party’s primaries, while the party’s current two MEPs, Kostas Arvanitis and Elena Kountoura, will run again.

Today, the five names that will fill the remaining five vacant positions on the ballot (four women and one man) will also be revealed, which are personal choices of Stefanos Kasselakis.

Candidate for the European Parliament, Konstantinos Sidiropoulos, who took the place of Dimitris Papanotas, arrives at the event with his father and his mother, Katerina Papakosta, former MP for the Second Athens District from New Democracy.
