The tragedy took place in the early hours on Friday in Eleusina with a 31-year-old losing his life and a 25-year-old injured. According to ERT (Hellenic Broadcasting), the fatal accident happened at the intersection of Kanellopoulou and Mouriki streets near the beach of Eleusina. Initial reports indicate that the accident happened at about 1:30 AM when the car driven by the 31-year-old veered off course for unknown reasons collided with a truck, and overturned.
