Green light in investment plans for marinas in Ellinikon, Lavrio & Rhodes

Why was the plan rejected in southern Corfu?

Newsroom April 26 12:40

The Ministry of Tourism has given the green light to investment plans concerning the upgrade of marinas in Agios Kosmas in Ellinikon, also in Attica in the municipality of Lavreotiki, and in Rhodes, while rejecting the decision for an investment plan in Corfu.

The latter was rejected during the evaluation due to non-compliance with the conditions specified in the call and the eligibility criteria.

These projects have been submitted as part of the public invitation of the sub-action “Upgrade of Tourist Ports” under the “Tourism Development” action of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

This action falls under the pillar of “Private Investments and Transformation of the Economy,” specifically under the Axis “Modernization and improvement of the resilience of the country’s main economic sectors” of the plan, which is implemented by the Ministry of Tourism and co-financed by the European Union.

With tight schedules in mind, the projects will start implementation from late April until the end of 2025.
