Traffic accident in Piraeus: How the five pedestrians were dragged – 4 years old child who was intubated

A serious traffic accident occurred on Wednesday evening (1/5) in Piraeus when a passing vehicle hit five people, including three children.

One of the children – 4 years old – is seriously injured from the accident, which took place at the height of the Commercial Park in Renti and was CPR on the road.

Ambulances from the ambulance service rushed to the scene and picked up the five injured.

The 4-year-old was initially transferred to “Tzaneio” where he was intubated and from there he was evacuated to “Paidon”.

The other two minors were also evacuated to the “Paidon”, while the two adults are being treated at the “Red Cross”.

According to initial reports, the driver of the car that swept the five people away says he did not see them.

For now, the circumstances under which the serious accident occurred are unknown.
