Eurytania: The driver whose car fell from a 60-meter cliff has died

The traffic accident occurred on the national road Karpenissi-Agrinio at Kalesmeno location

The traffic accident which occurred Friday morning (10/5) on the national road connecting Karpenissi-Agrinio, at the location of the village of Kalesmeno in Evrytania had a tragic outcome.  A car veered off course and fell into a ravine approximately 60 meters deep where four fire department vehicles were rushed to the scene.

The injured couple were extricated and were taken with an EKAB ambulance to the hospital of Karpenissi. A few hours later, the 70-year-old driver passed away, according to agrinionews.
