Mr. Plakiotakis went on to stress the importance of upholding fundamental values like democracy, solidarity, justice, and human rights in a world increasingly marked by instability and uncertainty. He warned that failure to do so could lead to alienation and disorientation, particularly among vulnerable populations, fostering populist and extremist movements.
