Nikos Hardalias responded promptly to a shocking incident involving a school bus driver and attendant who reportedly left a 5-year-old child locked inside the vehicle for six hours. Upon receiving the parents’ complaint, the Attica Regional Governor initiated an immediate investigation to determine any liabilities and ensure strict enforcement. The Attica Region’s Directorate of Education compiled the relevant information and forwarded the matter to the appropriate regional committee to begin procedures for terminating the contractor’s contract as per legal provisions.
