Ataman forms the number 7 with his fingers, Lessor holds the flag, and the motorcycle procession on Attiki Odos
At 2:18 PM, the plane landed, but the scheduled moment of celebration was already delayed. The designated bus was ready to pick up the team members, but it wasn’t until 2:57 PM that it began moving. When they appeared at Gate 7, the entire airport area echoed with chants of “champions, champions!” The players were leading the chants, capturing every moment with their mobile phones, while the crowd went wild…

Nearly an hour later, PAO fans and the bus hadn’t reached Attiki Odos toll booths that were closed in both directions. However, patience prevailed. Ataman gestured the number 7, while Lesor alternated between holding his son and waving a large Panathinaikos flag during the procession.
While events unfolded at the airport and on Attiki Odos, Panathinaikos supporters gathered at OAKA from 14:00. As the team’s procession neared, the crowd thickened around the Olympic Stadium, causing delays for the bus. Eventually, at 17:10, it cleared the parking gate, ready to greet thousands of awaiting fans. By 17:30, the bus entered the designated lane, concluding the celebration.

Chants from the players, holding smoke flares, created a frenzy, with Mathias Lessort asking for silence to sing his favorite chant, “voudou, voudou.” Almost all players, along with Ergin Ataman, expressed gratitude for the support and love, rallying together for the championship, and even the 8th in Barcelona! In light that no one could outdo the craze, Mathias Lessort, having celebrated more than anyone else, appeared half-naked after the celebration, wearing a PAO scarf on his head, riding a motorcycle or at least trying to navigate it through PAO fans.
