GPO Poll: ND leads by 16.9 points, reached 33.1% threshold

SYRIZA gains ground, three points ahead of PASOK - Tight race for fourth place - Inflation, economy, and European Issues are key voting factors - Top EU Parliament candidates

In a Star news poll, New Democracy leads SYRIZA by 16.9 points, with ND at 33.1%, SYRIZA at 16.2%, and PASOK at 13.2%. Eliniki Lysi (Greek Solution) follows with 8.4%, KKE 8.2%, NIKI 3.6%, Eleftheria Plevsis (Freedom Sailing) 3.5%, Nea Aritera (New Left) 3%, Democrats 2.6%, Foni it’s Logikis (Voice of Logic) 2.2%, and MeRA25 2%. Compared to March, ND’s voting intention rose from 28.8% to 29.5%, SYRIZA from 11.7% to 14.4%, and PASOK from 11.4% to 11.7%. Greek Solution also rose from 6.5% to 7.5%, while KKE declined.

For ND’s EU parliament candidates, Eliza Vozemberg leads with 32.1%, followed by Giorgos Avtias at 27.1%. For SYRIZA, Kostas Arvanitis leads with 33.7%. For PASOK, Nikos Papandreou leads with 26.5%. In popularity, Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads with 43.5% positive views, followed by Dimitris Koutsoumbas at 34.9%. 45.9% of citizens want to support EU policies, while 41.3% want to oppose them. 34.3% support the government, and 60.4% want to vote against it. Economic issues will influence 53.4% of voters, with 8.2% influenced by European matters. Other issues include security, health, foreign policy, Tempi, education, and same-sex marriage. For the most substantial opposition, 18.5% say SYRIZA, 12.9% PASOK, and 10.9% Greek Solution.
