World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024

Barcelona's Disfrutar Takes the Top Spot

For the 22nd year, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants has announced its list. Held at the Encore Theater of the Wynn Las Vegas, the 2024 ranking features restaurants from 26 regions across five continents, including numerous new entries and returning favorites.

Barcelona at the Top, All-European Top Three

This year, the top spot goes to Disfrutar in Barcelona, Spain, which has steadily climbed the ranks, previously placing second and third. The top three are completed by Asador Etxebarri in the Basque Country, Spain, and Table by Bruno Verjus in Paris, France. Following them are Diverxo in Madrid, Spain, and Maido in Lima, Peru.

New Entries and Returning Favorites

New to the list are La Colombe (Cape Town, South Africa) at 49th, Mingles (Seoul, South Korea) at 44th, and Wing (Hong Kong, China) at 20th. Returning to the list are Sühring (Bangkok, Thailand) at 23rd, Oteque (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) at 37th, Sorn (Bangkok, Thailand), Arpège (Paris, France), and SingleThread (Healdsburg, CA, USA) at 38th, 45th, and 46th respectively. Last year’s winner, Central in Lima, Peru, has moved to the Best of the Best list:
