At 20:20 Instead of 21:00, the First Reliable Estimate for the Result
The first reliable result of the European elections is expected to be announced forty minutes earlier than initially estimated before the elections.
Specifically, according to officials from Singular Logic, due to the high abstention rate, the estimate for the final result is expected at 20:20 or even earlier, instead of 21:00.
The related announcements will be made by the General Manager of the company, Dimitris Bakakos, from the Ministry of the Interior.

The ballot boxes have been opened for vote counting both at the 18,380 polling stations, where voters cast their ballots in person, and at the 237 postal voting stations.
Immediately after the process is completed, the judicial representatives of each polling station will transmit the final results directly to the Ministry of the Interior via the Secure Transmission System (SRT) and also through the “traditional” and more time-consuming method of telegrams.
According to Singular Logic, the first reliable results for the parties’ percentages are expected around 21:00, while a secure estimate for the candidates’ preferences will be available around 23:00.
At the government and the ND headquarters on Piraeus Street, the result of the European ballot is seen as a significant victory for the governing party.
Although New Democracy is below the 33.12% it achieved in the previous European elections, the “blue party”‘s lead is the largest in the history of the European elections.
Kasselakis’ First Statement
“Tomorrow, the insecurity and poverty experienced by so many people will not change,” Mr. Kasselakis stated as his initial comment, just before heading to Koumoundourou.
PASOK: First Reaction After the Exit Poll – “Third Consecutive Increase in Percentage”
PASOK will fall short of the second place if the exit poll is confirmed, which gives it between 10.9% and 13.9%. The party of Nikos Androulakis, in its initial analysis of the exit poll, highlights that the average value of 12.4% in today’s European elections shows that PASOK is marking its third consecutive increase in percentage. They recall that in the 2019 European elections, they received only 7.7%, while last June in the national elections, they achieved a double-digit percentage of 11.8%.
