Justin Timberlake was arrested for driving under the influence in the Hamptons, according to a police official’s statement to ABC News.

The arrest took place on Monday night in Sag Harbor, New York, and the pop star is set to appear in court today.

The 43-year-old has two scheduled concerts in Chicago this week, followed by performances at Madison Square Garden in New York in the coming days.

In a 2023 appearance on the podcast “Oprah’s Master Class,” Timberlake admitted that at one point in his life, he relied on alcohol to cope with the pressures of fame and success, drinking excessively.

Recognizing that he needed help, he made the brave decision to seek treatment and end his destructive habits. Timberlake emphasized that his wife, Jessica Biel, supported him during that difficult period.
