Konstantinos Plevris: Marriage is necessary for inheritance reasons

In joint statements with his partner, Giorgia Siacavaras, the 84-year-old lawyer stressed that "the issue of marriage is settled."

Newsroom June 20 08:00

Konstantinos Plevris and Giorgia Siacavarra made joint statements and among other things, they talked about their marriage.

Reporter of “Super Katerina” made a reference to the topic, since the couple had said that they would get married.

“That’s settled,” the lawyer replied and when asked if a marriage is necessary, he said: “Yes, for inheritance reasons” without saying more.

For her part, the former “My Style Rocks” contestant pointed out, after a question, that it is not necessary for a couple to date all the time. “You don’t need to date or anything, when you and your partner are having a good time wherever you are, you don’t need dates, you don’t need specific places, nothing,” she said.

Along the way, Giorgia Siacavara described what their favourite habits are as a couple.

“We’re together and we look at the comments that are written, the negative ones and stuff and we comment on them and laugh. My favourite is ‘oh Pleyri, if he was Prime Minister for only an hour, he wouldn’t need anything else’,” he commented. As for what they will do in the summer and if they will go on vacation somewhere, Giorgia Siacavara replied, “When you and your man are good, it’s always a vacation.”

The 84-year-old lawyer had revealed in November 2023 that he had already proposed to his 49-year-old partner. As he had told On Time: “Georgia means a little three-letter word to me. It’s everything.

The proposal has been long overdue and the wedding will take place immediately, before the end of 2023. It will take place at the house I have in Peania, where there is the hermitage of St. Thomas. That is my thought. Right now we live in my house, in Dionysos, and we are currently looking to buy a house in Paleo Psychiko.”
