The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) offers musical sunsets to the public. From July 17 to September 4, every Wednesday at 20:00, at the Lighthouse, the highest point with a 360˚ view from the Saronic Gulf to the Acropolis, favorite DJs will mix the ultimate summer soundtrack.
The musical selections span a wide range, from soul, funk, and trip hop to electronica and world beats, with free entry for visitors.

Wednesday 17/07: La Saramuya Picó Sound System feat. Adamantios (Teranga Beat) & Stivako La Saramuya Picó Sound System is the first of its kind in Europe, built in Barranquilla, Colombia, and ending up in Athens. Picós are specially adapted and mobile sound systems, decorated with neon lights and psychedelic artwork. They appeared in the 1950s at street parties on Colombia’s Caribbean Coast, mainly in the working-class neighborhoods of Barranquilla, Cartagena, and Santa Marta. Picó parties are known as Verbena, and their music ranges from Latin, Afro-Latin, to Caribbean rhythms. A unique DJ set with afro-funk and tropical sounds, featuring Adamantios (aka Teranga Beat) and Stivako on the decks.
Wednesday 24/07: Chevy Vasilis Sevdalis (aka Chevy) lives and works in Athens. His sound is described as modern disco, leftfield house, and indie-dance, often playing eclectic, freestyle sets from a broad spectrum of DJ culture. He has collaborated with Synch Festival, six d.o.g.s, ADD Festival, Sky Vector Music, and more.
Wednesday 31/07: Andreas Mitrelis Andreas Mitrelis is a DJ, producer, collector, and owner of Veego Records. He studied Music Production and Technology in London, and his DJ sets are known for covering a wide range from psych folk grooves to afro funk and disco. His DJ career began in the late ’90s, and to date, he has mixed music for fashion shows, clubs, festivals (Sonar), and private parties, and is part of the DJ duo Greece Goes Modern.
Wednesday 07/08: Pene Pene is one of Athens’ most active DJs, mixing seemingly unrelated music genres from dub, cosmic, balearic, disco, post rock, dark pop, electronic oddities, and anything in between. For the past 20 years, he has organized events in Athens and shared decks with internationally renowned artists such as Sean Johnston (ALFOS), Balearic Mike, Kelvin Andrews, Ray Mang, Soft Rocks, Make A Dance, Haules Baules, Phillip Gorbachev, Bell Towers, Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco, and has warmed up for concerts by Moderat, the Chemical Brothers, and David Holmes.
Wednesday 21/08: Michalis Kamakas Michalis Kamakas is a journalist, radio producer, DJ, and director. He is behind the podcast series “Gig time,” which explores the history of major concerts, festivals, and music venues worldwide. He is the producer and presenter of “Urban live sounds,” a segment on his show “Urban sounds” on Kosmos 93.6, giving a platform to new artists on the local scene to showcase their music.
Wednesday 28/08: Mighty Robot Mighty Robot is a graphic designer/illustrator. Since 2010, she has been involved in music and online radio, as well as organizing music events. Since 2016, she has hosted a music show on Cannibal Radio, where she has also been the artistic director since 2019. Her musical journey spans electro, hip hop, space disco, funk, synths & breaks from outer space.
Wednesday 04/09: Fo Fofi Tsesmeli (aka Fo) is a DJ, journalist, and consultant with a long career and expertise in electronic music. Since 2014, she has written an electronic music column for LiFO and holds the longest-running club residency in the country as the resident DJ of Sodade BackStage for the past 25 years. She has collaborated with the Athens Concert Hall, SNFCC, Athens Pride, Sonar Athens, Athens Music Week, World Pride, HE.SHE.THEY, Volos Festival, “Eleusis Cultural Capital of Europe 2023,” and others in events promoting inclusion and equality in music.
