Changes in the opening hours of archaeological sites and monuments at the weekend due to the heat wave

The opening hours of archaeological sites and monuments are changed at the weekend due to weather conditions.

Specifically, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Culture, the archaeological sites in Achaia and Lesvos that can be visited, the Byzantine Castle of Trikala and the archaeological site of Dodoni will be open from the beginning of opening hours until 13:00.

The archaeological sites of Gitano, Tower of Ragios and Elea in Thessprotia, the Castle of St. George and the Roman Villa of Skala in Cephalonia from the start of opening hours until 12:00 noon, while the archaeological sites of Ancient Olympia, Phaistos and Gortys from the beginning of the opening hours until 13.00 and from 15:00 to 20:00.
