Maria Sakkari will enter the women’s singles draw as the No. 7 seed, while Stefanos Tsitsipas will compete in the men’s singles as the No. 9 seed.
Sakkari’s ranking was confirmed despite the withdrawal of Marketa Vondrousova from the women’s singles, which did not impact her position. On the other hand, Tsitsipas benefitted from Hubert Hurkacz’s withdrawal, which allowed him to move up in the rankings.
Both Greek players will also participate in all available tennis events in Paris. Tsitsipas, aged 25, will compete in the men’s doubles alongside his brother Petros. Sakkari, aged 28, will team up with Despina Papamichael in the women’s doubles. Additionally, Sakkari and Tsitsipas will pair up for the mixed doubles event.
