Police officers of the Police Department of the Police Department of Thessaloniki State Airport, arrested yesterday (21/7) a 27-year-old man for insulting and threatening.

As it emerged from the investigation, the 27-year-old arrived late at the airport’s check-in area in order to travel abroad and as he was not accepted by the ground handling company, he started hitting protective covers of the desks, causing fear and anxiety among the employees.

In addition, he insulted police officers upon their arrival at the scene.

The arrested man, with the case file formed against him, will be taken to the relevant prosecutor.
