Anna Korakaki had hoped for a better showing in the 10m air pistol event at the Paris Olympics.

The Greek champion started with 90 accurate shots and then scored 93 and 94 in the subsequent rounds. However, she did not complete her attempts in the fourth round and skipped the next two rounds.

In her first appearance at the world’s premier sporting event, Christina Moschou finished 29th. After completing all her shots, she accumulated a score of 569-7x.

Leading the final was Veronica Major from Hungary, with a score of 582-22x. The last spot in the final was secured by Ransin Yang (China) with a score of 577-13x.
