The 44-year-old, a soldier by profession was serving in Rhodes and together with his 12-year-old daughter, his 19-year-old son and their 66-year-old grandmother, were returning to Amaliada from Kalamata – where they had gone to the city’s camp for the swearing-in of the 19-year-old. The young man was transferred on Saturday from Panarcadiko to the 401 General Military Hospital, while the 66-year-old grandmother was also hospitalized with injuries.

It will be recalled that a 38-year-old man died instantly from the first vehicle, as well as a little girl just one year old. The mother, a 38-year-old woman, who is also being treated at the Kalamata General Hospital, and a six-year-old boy who suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Karamandaneio Children’s Hospital in Patras, came out alive. According to Tempo24.News, his mother will be transferred to Patras for treatment to be close to her son.

The family that was in the car are permanent residents of London, they were on holiday with relatives in Nafplio and yesterday had gone on an excursion.
