The organized beaches of Attica are filled with people every day, and many sunbeds and umbrellas are even reserved several days in advance.

Those who have not yet taken time off from work and have not left for vacation choose to spend the day on the nearby beaches of Attica. From very early in the morning the sunbeds are full and the reservations are on fire.

“Especially at the weekend you have to have a reservation. That’s why I call 3-4 days ago and book it.”

Reservations for sunbeds on Alimos beach have already started a month ago. Those who haven’t managed to book either come very early in the morning or spread their towel on the sand.

Accurate… dive

Although the occupancy rate at the beaches of Attica reaches 100% almost every day, a swim in the sea proves to be… expensive, especially on weekends.

According to a report by MEGA, in Alimos on weekdays the entrance fee is 8€ per person and the sunbed set is 17€. On weekends the entrance fee is 10€ per person and the price of the sunbed set is 22€.

In Voula on weekdays the entrance fee is 7€ per person and the price for the sunbed set ranges between 20 and 40€. On weekends the entrance price goes up to 8.5€ and the price for the set varies between 30 and 50 euros.

And while some people are still slow to go on holiday and with the thermometer rising again, a dip in the beach seems to be the only solution.
