Thanasis Danis, Mayor of Souli and a doctor, decided to contribute significantly to the strengthening of the National Health System (NHS), which is strained by staff shortages during shifts. In a gesture of both high symbolic and practical importance, Mr. Danis was at the Preveza hospital to take a shift. With this action, he sent a strong message about the need for all doctors to participate in the common effort to support the public health system.
