Olympic Games: Greek Participation on Day 5 in Paris

Greek athletes will compete in seven different sports on Wednesday (July 31)

Key events include the early rounds of judo with Elisavet Teltsidou and Theodoros Tselidis, Apostolos Christou’s return to the pool for the 200m backstroke, Stefanos Tsitsipas’ tennis match for a place in the singles quarterfinals, Panagiotis Gionis’ table tennis match in the round of 32, the women’s national water polo team’s game against Spain, and triple Greek representation in rowing semifinals with Stefanos Ntouskos (men’s single sculls), Antonis Papakonstantinou/Petros Gaidatzis (men’s lightweight double sculls), and Zoe Fitsiou/Milena Kontou (women’s lightweight double sculls), all aiming for spots in the finals.
