Emmanuel Karalis will attempt to follow in the footsteps of Lefteris Petrounias, who won Greece’s fifth medal yesterday, as he competes in the pole vault final today (04/08), on the 10th day of the Olympic Games in Paris.

In the women’s pole vault qualifiers this morning, Katerina Stefanidi, Eleni Polak, and Ariadni Adamopoulou will compete, while Poliniki Emmanouilidou will race in the women’s 200m repechage to qualify for the semifinals.

In shooting, Emmanouela Katzouraki and Makis Mitas will compete in the mixed team skeet qualifiers, while Ioli Mytilinaiou will participate in the equestrian show jumping event.

Finally, the national men’s water polo team will face Italy, needing a win to secure 2nd place.
