Gordon Ramsay: Revealed that his wife uses Jamie Oliver’s recipes—”Do you know how hard that is for me?”

The rivalry between the two chefs has lasted for years

Newsroom August 26 08:30

Gordon Ramsay admitted that his wife is a big fan of his rival, Jamie Oliver.

Speaking on the “Dish” podcast, the famous chef revealed that his wife, Tana, doesn’t follow his own recipes.

Instead, she uses Jamie Oliver’s cookbook, with whom Ramsay has had a rivalry since 2009. “She has kids, and rather than letting me cook, she lets me wander around, not allowing me to interfere, and in the end, she always manages to make something everyone wants. Usually, a wonderful lasagna or a perfect pie. She’s amazing,” he said.

He then confessed that the recipes his wife follows aren’t his own but his rival’s.

“And all her recipes are from Jamie Oliver. Do you have any idea how difficult that is for me?” he said to the host, Angela Hartnett, who is also a close friend of his.

Ramsay married Tana in 1996. The couple has six children together.
