At the Diamond League in Silesia, Poland—one of the final major events of the outdoor track and field season—Duplantis set a new world record with a vault of 6.26 meters, surpassing his previous mark of 6.25 meters. This achievement came 20 days after winning gold and setting a world record at the Paris Olympics.
After celebrating his record in the stadium, Duplantis suddenly marked the occasion. Discovering a branch of a popular Swedish fast-food chain in Silesia, he posted a video of himself indulging in burgers, chicken nuggets, fries, and soda, which quickly went viral.
“I broke the world record. I hadn’t eaten for 7 hours… Found Max in Poland,” Duplantis wrote in his TikTok video, which shows him enjoying his fast-food feast.
