The video of the 23-year-old woman who reported the rape in Mykonos and how she reacted seems to be what led investigating authorities to release the three Pakistanis who had been arrested.
Specifically, according to prosecutors, the three Pakistanis were released without parole for the alleged rape of the 23-year-old tourist in Mykonos, as the analysis of the videos shows that the sexual intercourse that took place, which the 23-year-old girl complained about, was done with her full consent.
In particular, 23-year-old woman reported that in the early morning hours of June 30 she was raped while on holiday in Mykonos by three perpetrators who remained unknown until noon on Saturday, August 24.
Eventually, the perpetrators were identified and brought to the island’s security department. There they confessed that they did indeed have sexual intercourse with the 23-year-old tourist.
However, police officers confiscated two mobile phones in their possession and also obtained biological material which was sent for identification to the ELAS forensic laboratories.
A case file was formed against the Pakistanis and they were sent to the prosecutor of the Syros Prosecutor’s Office. However, the perpetrators were subsequently released without restrictive conditions.
This is because the videos taken by the Pakistanis during their sexual intercourse with the tourist show according to prosecution sources that all the sexual acts recorded in the videos were done with the 23-year-old’s full consent, with no evidence of rape.
The same sources added that the acts played out during the alleged rape were, as the videos show, to the satisfaction of the 23-year-old girl herself. Moreover, the same sources note, the tourist was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the alleged rape.
