Three people were arrested for trafficking drugs in Mykonos by police officers of the Mykonos Police Sub-Directorate, with the assistance of the Special Action Team.
Specifically, the accused were found yesterday, Monday, August 26, 2024, outside a tourist accommodation in the area of Mykonos and were arrested as suspects for joint trafficking of drugs.
From the body searches conducted, in their possession were found various packages (nylon, containers and key chains) where they had placed quantities of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, pink cocaine, MDMA powder and hydrobutyric acid.
More specifically, the following were seized:
– 7 nylon packets of crystal methamphetamine, total gross weight 8.15 grams
– 4 nylon packets of cocaine (one pink), total gross weight 3.24 grams
– 3 metal key chains, the inside of which contained cocaine with a total net weight of 0.97 grams
– 2 nylon packets containing mdma powder (grit), gross weight 1.2 grams
– 11 XTC drug tablets
-a glass container with a capacity of 50 ml, containing 20 ml of hydrobutyric acid
– a plastic container containing 2 ml of hydrobutyric acid
– 4 mobile phones and the sum of EUR 60, as proceeds of drug trafficking
The seized substances will be sent to the competent Chemical Service for further analysis, while the money will be deposited in the Deposits and Loans Fund.
The arrested persons, with the case file formed against them, will be brought to the competent Public Prosecutor.
