Rising temperatures and local showers on Monday

Possible clouds and showers in the mountainous areas during the afternoon in Athens and Thessaloniki

Clouds across most of the country on Monday with temperatures recording a slight increase. From midday, expect local clouds and even scattered showers and thunderstorms across much of the country.

The temperature will reach 33-34 degrees Celsius, slightly increased from Sunday. In island regions, it will reach 30 degrees. Winds will generally be 3-4 Beaufort.

Rain will affect the Dodecanese until noon, while for the rest of the country, there will be rain during the afternoon.

Local showers and isolated thunderstorms in the Dodecanese until the midday hours. In the rest of the country generally clear weather with local clouds in the afternoon in the mainland and Crete, where there will be local showers or isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains.
Winds will be from 3 to 4 Beaufort and only in the Aegean Sea will blow northwest, locally up to 5 Beaufort.

Temperatures will rise slightly mainly in the mainland and the Ionian Sea where it will reach 33 and locally in the mainland 34 degrees Celsius. In the rest of the island country, it will reach 30 degrees Celsius.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 33 and locally in central Macedonia up to 34 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia, the minimum is 2 to 3 degrees lower.

In the south of the country, the temperature will be lower and less than 2.5 degrees Celsius.
Ionian Islands, Ionian Islands, Ipeiros, Western Sterea, Western Peloponnese
Weather. In the afternoon clouds will develop and there will be local rain or isolated thunderstorms mainly in the western Peloponnese and the rest of the mainland mountainous areas.
General conditions.
Winds: 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the afternoon hours in the Ionian Sea west-northwest.
Temperature: From 21 to 33 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus, the minimum is 4 to 5 degrees lower.

From 21 to 21.5 degrees Celsius and from 21 to 21.5 degrees Celsius.
East mainland, Evia, East Peloponnese
Weather. In the afternoon clouds will develop and there will be local rain or isolated thunderstorms mainly in the continental highlands.
Winds: 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 19 to 33 and locally in Fthiotida up to 34 degrees Celsius.

From 19 to 19 degrees and up to +15 to +15 degrees Celsius, and from 19 to +15 to 30 degrees Celsius.
Cyclades, Crete

Weather. In Crete, generally clear and only in the midday and afternoon hours clouds will develop and local rain will occur, mainly in the mountains.

Winds: Western northwestern 3 to 4 and occasionally locally 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 22 to 30 degrees Celsius.

EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather. In the Dodecanese a few clouds, partly cloudy, with local rain or isolated thunderstorms until noon.
Winds: North northwestern 4 and occasionally locally 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 22 to 30 degrees Celsius.

THESSALY
Weather: almost clear and only in the afternoon – afternoon in the mainland clouds will develop and in the mountainous area there will be local rain.
Winds: 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 19 to 33 and in the Sporades up to 30 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA
Weather: generally clear and only in the afternoon – afternoon clouds will develop and there may be occasional rain mainly in the mountains.

Winds: 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 21 to 32 degrees Celsius.

THESSALONIKI
Weather: generally clear and only at noon – afternoon clouds will develop, so local rain may occur in the surrounding mountainous areas.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 20 to 33 degrees Celsius.

Generally clear weather throughout the country with a few local clouds in the west. In the midday – afternoon hours clouds will develop in the mainland, the northern Aegean, and Crete, where local rain or rain will occur. Isolated thunderstorms will occur mainly in the western and southern continental highlands.
In the morning and evening hours, visibility will be locally limited in the mainland and the Ionian Sea.
Winds will blow from the north from 3 to 4 Beaufort, in the Aegean Sea 5, and from the evening hours locally 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly to its maximum values and will reach 33 to 34 and locally 35 degrees Celsius on the mainland and 30 to 32 degrees Celsius on the islands.
