Famous actor Liam Neeson returns to the big screen for another action-packed adventure, this time portraying a seasoned criminal seeking redemption.
PEOPLE has unveiled the first trailer for the crime drama Absolution, which is set in Boston and follows Neeson’s character as he attempts to right the wrongs of his past after being released from prison.
“An aging criminal tries to reconnect with his children and correct the mistakes of his past, but the underworld is not willing to easily release its grip,” reads the synopsis.

This is Neeson’s first film production for 2024, following In the Land of Saints and Sinners, Wildcast, and the thriller Retribution, all released last year.
The cast of Absolution also includes Yolonda Ross, Frankie Shaw, Daniel Diemer, and Javier Molina, among others. Directed by Hans Petter Moland, with a script by Tony Gayton.
One of Neeson’s upcoming films is the remake of Naked Gun.
Absolution is set to be released in theaters on November 1st.
