The iconic game “The Sims” is being turned into a movie, with Margot Robbie serving as the producer.
The famous actress will produce the film through her company, LuckyChap Entertainment, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Kate Herron is both directing the film and co-writing the screenplay alongside Briony Redman.

So far, no further details about the movie, such as the cast or filming start date, have been revealed.
The game “The Sims” was first released by Maxis and Electronic Arts in 2000. After more than 20 years, it remains one of the most popular video game franchises in the world, with around 20 million unique players.
