An armed robbery occurred Monday morning at a bank branch in New Philadelphia.

According to reports, a person wearing a wig broke into the bank located on Dekelias Avenue and obtained an undisclosed amount of money at gunpoint.

The perpetrator then fled with the help of an accomplice who was waiting for him on a motorcycle. The investigation by the National Police to locate and arrest the two men is ongoing.
