MRB: ND dominance, SYRIZA fifth party, PASOK derby for 2+2

Androulakis' lead, Doucas within touching distance and high percentages for Geroulanos, Diamantopoulou

New Democracy maintains a large lead over PASOK, which is consolidating in second place, according to a major MRB poll aired on OPEN’s main newscast. Nikos Androulakis has a lead over PASOK a few days before the first round of elections, with Charis Doukas following close behind.

The voting intention

 Specifically, in the voting intention, the parties’ percentages are recorded as follows:

New Democracy: 21.9%
PASOK: 12.2%
Hellenic Solution: 8.3%
KKE: 7.7%
SYRIZA: 7.5%
Voice of Reason: 3.6%
Pλεύsi Eleftherias: 3.5%
MPA25: 3.1%
Niki: 3%
Nea Aristera: 2.1%
Undecided vote: 23%

In the reduction of the valid votes, the percentages of the parties are recorded as follows:

New Democracy: 28.4%
PASOK: 15.8%
Hellenic Solution: 10.8%
KKE: 10%
SYRIZA: 9.7%
Voice of Reason: 5.7%

Pessimism prevails

66.4% think things are going badly in the country, while only 11.1% appear optimistic.

In the voting intention for the PASOK elections – with a sample of those who say they are likely to vote – the percentages of the candidates are recorded as follows:

Nikos Androulakis: 26.4%
Haris Dukas: 24.7%
Anna Diamantopoulou: 17.3%
Pavlos Geroulanos: 17.2%
Michalis Katrinis: 4.8%
Nadia Giannakopoulou: 3.1%

In the voting intention for the PASOK elections – with a sample of those who answered that they would vote – the percentages of the candidates are recorded as follows:

Nikos Androulakis: 27.3%
Charis Dukas: 25.7%
Anna Diamantopoulou: 16.9%
Pavlos Geroulanos: 17.9%
Michalis Katrinis: 3.4%
Nadia Giannakopoulou: 2.5%

Do they want a change of president in PASOK?
63.2% of those who are likely to vote in the PASOK elections say they want a change of leadership in the party, while 31.4% say they don’t.
On the other hand, 64.8% of those who will vote in the PASOK elections say they want a change of leadership, while 30.8% say they don’t.
