The large fire that broke out late in the afternoon in a two-story abandoned building behind the ISAP electric station in the center of Piraeus continues to burn.

Thick black smoke has covered the port of Piraeus as the fire broke out near the Tower.

According to the latest update from the Fire Department, the fire is still active, with the building fully engulfed in flames.

The firefighting operation involves 18 firefighters with six vehicles and a crane truck.

Due to the fire, traffic has been halted on Kekropas Street from Gounari Street to Alipedou Street.
