Vogue has announced the theme for this year’s Met Gala, along with the event’s hosts.

The theme of the exhibition will be “Tailoring Black Style,” inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.

The theme for the 2025 Met Gala will be ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ — based on the style of Black men throughout history.

The hosts for the Met Gala 2025 will be Coleman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour, with LeBron James serving as the honorary chair.

According to Vogue’s announcement, the exhibition will feature clothing, paintings, and photographs that explore “the style of Black men in the context of dandyism, from the 18th century to the present day.”
