Swedish police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred near an Israeli-affiliated site in Gothenburg. According to Swedish public television (SVT), the location is a facility of the Israeli defense contracting company Elbit Systems. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

A young suspect was arrested at the scene, and authorities have launched a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious firearms-related crimes.

While police confirmed the location was near Elbit Systems’ Swedish facility, a police spokesperson declined to provide further comment. Elbit Systems in Sweden also has not yet responded to requests for a statement.
