Detained by the Internal Affairs Service Security Corps, a police officer accused of fraud committed and attempted, repeatedly, as well as violation of weapons legislation. The documentation that was formed includes another person who is charged with aiding and abetting fraud.

The tangle of the case began to unravel after the complaint of a woman who, at the urging of the person accused of complicity, approached the police officer for her case.

The police officer, under the guise of mediation to avoid legal consequences in the case, persuaded the victim to pay sums of money, first in person to his accomplice and then to bank accounts.

In a body search, as well as in a search conducted at a residence, three shotguns, a revolver, a pistol, 251 cartridges, 500 euros, a watch and a mobile phone were found and seized.

The arrested person was taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
