Night rate begins November 1st – Applicable hours and changes

Continuous rate (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) no longer available for new consumers

The Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (HEDNO) reminds customers that for those on the household time-of-use tariff with reduced night rates (split schedule), the schedule will be in effect this year as every year from November 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, as follows:

  • From 02:00 to 08:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00 for customers connected to the Mainland Network and the interconnected islands.
  • From 02:00 to 08:00 and from 15:30 to 17:30 for customers on the non-interconnected islands.

Consumers seeking further information on this matter can obtain details from their electricity provider.

For customers on the continuous time-of-use tariff with reduced night rates, the current schedule of 23:00 to 07:00 remains in effect.

Note: The continuous schedule (23:00 to 07:00 all year round) is no longer available for new customers and remains applicable only to those who already have it. Customers with the continuous schedule may switch to the split schedule if they wish; however, they cannot revert to the continuous schedule once they make the switch.
