US Elections 2024 – Mike Manatos: 40,000 people in seven states will determine the outcome

The Greek expatriate, a distinguished lawyer and lobbying expert in the American capital, whose family has been close to all American presidents for the last 88 years, talks to protothema.gr

Newsroom November 3 06:07

Mike Manatos is the successor to a veritable “dynasty” of Greeks who have been at the side of Presidents in the United States for at least 85 years. The distinguished lawyer and expert on lobbying issues in the U.S. capital spoke to us about the Greece his family honors in the most influential way and stresses that the Tuesday’s election is an outcome that will be decided by just a few thousands of votes in seven key states.

Two of the four walls at the entrance to the neoclassical building that houses his company “Manatos & Manatos” are completely covered in photographs. We spontaneously ask him how many presidents he has met with and he smiles and tells us that his family, from his grandfather to the present day, has been at the side of all presidents who have served the country for at least the past 88 years. The frames have historical weight, and presidents from JFK to Donald Trump are featured in extras that are the most tangible evidence of what it means to have meaningful support for your country.

</What Mike Mana Matan says in his interview with Mike Mana, which is all about what Mike Mana is saying.

Regarding the upcoming election, Mike Manatos notes that the outcome of the “battle” between Trump and Harris will be decided by a percentage that is just 1/100th of 1% of the American population and says that Americans vote with the well-being of their families in mind, which is why the economy is consistently high on their list of concerns and worries.

On how Greece and Cyprus will be affected by the presidential election, Manatos clarifies that today the two countries’ relations with the US are at the best point in their modern history even though there is traditionally a “weighing” with US-Turkish relations, this is the basis for an equally good continuation. Manatos takes it for granted that Greece will remain high on the list of strategic partners for the Oval Office regardless of who the next occupant is.
