An unthinkable incident was recorded today at a nursery in Holargos when childminders handed the wrong child, a baby aged just 19 months, to a grandfather.

The grandfather, who claimed he wasn’t wearing his glasses, picked it up, put it in his car normally, drove it home, and then came back when he realized it wasn’t their child.

The father of the child who was given to the wrong family also went to the nursery and when he did not find his child there he protested in a strong tone.

The childcare workers were then arrested and referred to the prosecutor for neglect of supervision of a minor under 2 years old as well as the grandfather for his responsibilities.
