In her rebuttal, Aphrodite Latinopoulou dismissed the accusations by Velopoulos and Bogdanos, stating that the recent poll results, which showed her party at 8%, seemed to have provoked them. She denied the claims about using fake signatures to meet the legal requirements for her party’s registration and described the allegations as unfounded. Latinopoulou suggested that the accusations were an attempt to undermine her party’s momentum and her position in the European Parliament.

Aphrodite Latinopoulou responded via a video posted on social media to Bogdanos’s allegation that she used signatures from nonexistent individuals to gather the 200 signatures required for her party’s registration in the Greek Supreme Court.

In her statement, Ms. Latinopoulou pointedly remarked, “the 8% hurts” — referring to the percentage her party achieved in a Real Polls survey presented on Wednesday on Alpha’s main news bulletin. She dismisses Bogdanos’s allegations as baseless, associating him with Kyriakos Velopoulos and claiming it is the second attempt to strip her of her seat in the European Parliament.

The leader of the “Voice of Reason” party challenged Mr. Bogdanos to substantiate his claims in court.
