Taxi drivers who have not affixed the sticker on the rear right window, which informs passengers that taxis are required to accept payments via POS, are now facing fines.
Throughout the week, AADE inspectors conducted checks at taxi stands across Attica, issuing warnings to drivers who had not complied.
It is estimated that these inspections have increased the compliance rate, and as a result, they will be intensified to ensure that all taxis display the necessary signage.
Starting Monday (November 18), drivers without the sticker on their vehicles will face a €1,000 fine.
