Max Verstappen, the four-time F1 World Champion, boasts an impressive collection of exotic cars in his garage. However, among the supercars and hypercars, there’s one rather surprising addition that stands out.
Typically, there are no major surprises when it comes to what you might find in the collection of a millionaire athlete competing at the highest level.
Audi RS6 Legacy Edition ABT
The latest addition to Verstappen’s garage is the Audi RS6 Legacy Edition, enhanced by ABT Sportsline. This is one of only 200 units released to customers, with the ABT kit boosting its power output to 760 horsepower and 980 Nm of torque. The car includes new turbos, an upgraded intercooler, carbon fiber components, and a stainless steel exhaust, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h.
Porsche 911 GT3 RS & Mercedes-AMG C 63 S
Among Verstappen’s German models are a 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a 2017 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S.
Renault R.S. 01 (2014)
Verstappen’s first car was a Renault Clio, but before obtaining his driver’s license, he already had a FIA super license. To match his need for speed, he acquired a Renault R.S. 01—a super sports car developed to replace the Megane RS. With a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 556 hp, it could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 300 km/h.
Ferrari 488 Pista (2018)
The Dutch champion’s collection wouldn’t be complete without a Ferrari, despite being a rival of Scuderia Ferrari in F1. Verstappen owns a rare 488 Pista, powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 720 hp, capable of 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h.
Aston Martin DBS Superleggera (2018)
During Aston Martin’s sponsorship of Red Bull Racing, Verstappen added a DBS Superleggera to his collection. This grand tourer features a 5.2-liter V12 engine, capable of 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 340 km/h.
Ferrari Monza SP2 (2019)
Another Ferrari in Verstappen’s collection is the Monza SP2, valued at over €1.7 million. This open-top beauty is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 820 hp, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 300 km/h.
Aston Martin Valkyrie (2022)
One of the most exotic cars in Verstappen’s garage is the Aston Martin Valkyrie, a hypercar designed by Adrian Newey. With a 6.5-liter V12 engine by Cosworth, combined with hybrid technology, it delivers a total of 1,155 hp, reaching 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and a top speed of over 400 km/h. Priced at €3 million, it’s the most expensive car in his collection—until he acquires the RB17.
The Big Surprise: Honda Civic Type R
Among the luxury vehicles, Verstappen once owned a Honda Civic Type R, acquired after Honda’s partnership with Red Bull Racing. While it’s the least expensive car in his collection, Verstappen frequently used it, reportedly clocking 58,500 km before selling it in 2021 and donating the proceeds to charity.
