By unanimous decision of the Ethics Committee of the New Democracy party, former party president and former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras has been removed from the party’s Parliamentary Group. The Ethics Committee convened under the chairmanship of Giannis Tragakis, with members Stavros Kalafatis, Kostas Tsiaras, Thanasis Davakis, and Theodoros Karaoglou.

No objections were raised, and there was little discussion regarding the matter. The decision will be sent to the office of the New Democracy president and will be forwarded to the President of the Hellenic Parliament tomorrow.
