Polls Open Nationwide
Today marks the first round of SYRIZA Progressive Alliance’s internal elections to choose the party’s new President. Voting is taking place in 400 polling stations across Greece.
The polls opened at 8:00 AM and are expected to close at 7:00 PM, barring any extensions. High voter turnout is a key goal for the party, as surpassing 60,000 participants is viewed as a critical step in revitalizing SYRIZA after a prolonged period of internal challenges lasting over a year and a half.
