An alarm was raised at noon on Monday (25/11) in the area of Hersonissos Crete when a man fell into a cave in unclear circumstances.

The Fire Department was immediately mobilized and proceeded to extricate him. 15 firefighters with 4 vehicles were involved.

The man was taken by an ambulance of the ambulance service conscious and was transferred to the hospital in good condition.
