Justin Trudeau spotted dancing at Taylor Swift concert amid Montreal riot reports

Some compared Trudeau's dance to Nero fiddling while Rome burned

Newsroom November 25 09:45

Angry reactions have been sparked in Canada by a video of the country’s prime minister, Justin Trudeau, dancing at a concert by Taylor Swift in Toronto, while anti-NATO protesters in Montreal were causing riots.

In the video of the concert, Trudeau, whose constituency is in Montreal, can be seen dancing to the song You Don’t Own Me.

Justin Trudeau refuses to condemn the anti-Semitic riots in Montreal.

He has time to dance & do selfies.

But he’s too busy to condemn a violent Hamas takeover of our streets.

But at the same time, as shown in a video posted by several critics of the Canadian prime minister, in Montreal anti-NATO protesters carrying Palestinian flags were throwing smoke bombs, clashing with police and setting cars on fire.

Some commentators likened Trudeau to Nero watching Rome burn.

“Illegal protesters cause violence in Montreal. The prime minister is dancing. This is the Canada of the Liberal government,” wrote Toronto MP Don Stewart on X.

Lawless protesters run roughshod over Montreal in violent protest.
