According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, they shot down 8 ballistic missiles, as well as 6 guided, American-made JDAM bombs and 45 drones in the last 24 hours.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated today that its forces shot down eight ballistic missiles launched by Ukrainian forces in the last 24 hours, according to Russian state media.
“Russian air defense forces shot down eight ballistic missiles, as well as six guided, American-made JDAM bombs and 45 unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said, according to the state news agency TASS.
The Russian Ministry did not specify what type of missiles were used. It is worth noting that the Biden administration allowed Ukraine to use ATACMS ballistic missiles for the first time last week.
On the other hand, Moscow used a new medium-range ballistic missile in Ukraine on Thursday, which Vladimir Putin stated was in response to the policy shift by Joe Biden.
